How do I know if my website is qualified to get listed as nominees?

MWA 2023 is open to anyone who had previously developed / designed a website that serves the Malaysia market. Only the aforementioned websites will be accepted as nominees.

When can I submit my website to get listed on MWA 2023?

You may submit your website to us from 1 Jan – 27 Dec 2022. Submissions made not within the allocated period will be neglected.

May I know more about the submission process?

Yes! You may check out the submission process in detail HERE. Submission closing date will be on the 27th of every month. Any submission received after the 27th will automatically be evaluated by next month.

How do I determine the category of my website/submission belongs to?

We provide a simple guideline as below:

  • Personal: Personal website sharing

  • Commercial: Company or business portfolio website that do not have the add-to-cart or booking system

  • E-Commerce: Complete E-Commerce websites with internal built-in add-to-cart, booking and payment system. (If the order link is interlinked with the marketplace, your website is not under the E-Commerce category. It will fall under the Commercial category instead.)

Does MWA have any language constraints?

Submitted websites must be written in English, Malay language or Chinese language. Websites written in other languages are not eligible to join MWA 2023.

May I know if there are any judging criterias to refer to?

Yes we have. You may refer to our list of Judging Criterias and improve your website before submitting, in order to have a higher chance of being nominated.

Can I resubmit my nominated website?

No, websites that are nominated in the past month cannot be submitted again in the coming months.

Only websites that are disqualified, you may enhance your website and resubmit in the coming months.

If the number of votes will influence my website ranking?

Your website ranking will not be influenced by the number of votes. The number of votes will only determine the winners of Favourite Website Award.

Can I report to the organizer if I found any suspicious votes?

Yes you may report to us by emailing to collaborate@exabytes.com. The practice of buying fake likes/votes is strictly prohibited for the Favourite Website Award. MWA reserves the right to disqualify the participants immediately from the Awards if participants are involved in buying fake likes/votes.
